Professional Coach and Director of Training, Derek Smethurst Derek is a former professional player for Chelsea FC, Millwall FC, and the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He has been a highly successful coach for several organizations, including the University of South Florida. He is the founder and director of SOCCER FOR WINNING and THE SMETHURST SOCCER METHOD that has taught proper soccer techniques to players into the thousands.
