Valrico Soccer Club's D-League soccer is designed to teach proper soccer fundamentals to young players in a fun, supportive, fair, and sportsmanlike environment.

 

In house teams are co-ed U5 - U15.

 

Spring League:

  February thru May

Fall League:

  August thru November

Winter 5v5:

  November thru January

D-League information

Spring 2012 D League Coach’s meeting will be on Saturday, February 11 from 8-10 am.

 

Season: 10 game season begins March 2 (Friday night) through May 12.

 

Practice: Once a week practice begins week of February 20. Practice night requests are done at time of registration. Players should have soccer ball (size 3 for U4-U7, size 4 for U8-U11, size 5 for the rest), cleats, shin guards, and water.

 

Fees: D League fee for all ages is $110. This includes a full uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), referee fees, end of season trophy and event. Discounts are available for “Early Bird Registration (limited time), siblings, and coaches (please consider – we always need volunteer coaches!) We also offer a concession stand referral voucher for new referrals.

 

Other: All practices and games are held at our Soccer-only Complex. Games are primarily scheduled for Saturday mornings with a few games on Friday nights under the lights. As registration is finalized you will receive updates via email and will also be contacted by your coach prior to the first practice night.

      2. Thursday, January 26 – Red building at Valrico Soccer Complex 6:30-8:30 pm
      3. Tuesday, January 31 - Red building at Valrico Soccer Complex 6:30-8:30 pm
      4. Saturday, February 4 – Dick’s Sporting Goods, Brandon Mall 10am-5pm (special shop day discounts)
      5. Thursday, February 9 - Red building at Valrico Soccer Complex 6:30-8:30 pm
      6. Saturday, February 11 - Red building at Valrico Soccer Complex 10:30 am-2:30 pm

Field Marshall Duties

1.     Pick up vest from Site Director.

2.     Make sure parents are on the opposite side from the players.

3.     Monitor the parents. Make sure parents are on positive behavior.

4.     Make sure you are visible.

5.     Move from field to field.

6.     Make sure all goals have bags to anchor them.

7.     Inform Site Director of any problems with coaches/players and/or spectators.
