Valrico Soccer Club Select Teams

Valrico select teams are tryout based competitive teams which compete in regional, statewide, and sometimes national competition. Each team has two practice sessions per week, one led by our professional coaching staff, the other by the team coaches, and they compete at the highest level of the sport for their age group. If you are interested in highly competitive soccer, in a fair, nurturing environment, Valrico Select Soccer may be for you.

All competitive girls & boys teams receive professional training weekly.

Derek Smethurst - Director of Training: Former Chelsea F.C. and Tampa Bay Rowdies world famous player. Derek has been responsible for more players receiving scholarships than any other trainer in the State of Florida

Justin Throneburg: Former 1992 US National and Olympic Team Goalkeeper.
